About Webbline Agriculture Ltd

Webbline Agriculture Ltd are importers and direct sellers of agricultural machinery. They are one of New Zealand’s leading grass and forage harvesting specialists.

Since August 2013 they have used, provided by Auto IT, as their main operating business platform. The main benefit of Auto.I.T EQUIP software is that it is designed for their industry and enables them to introduce best practice procedures and processes in all key areas, including parts, service, sales and admin.

Decision to Automate Accounts Payable Process

When Webbline Agriculture Ltd decided it was time to automate their Accounts Payable Invoice Process they approached Auto.I.T who suggested they look at Ferret Software Ltd.

Ferret’s understanding of their Accounts Payable process and issues gave them confidence to proceed. The installation went smoothly as the team at Ferret were helpful and knew their stuff; Ferret were able to liaise directly with Auto.I.T to ensure the syncs were set up etc.

Integration between Auto.I.T EQUIP and Ferret AP Approvals System

Ferret has a sync available that enables Auto.I.T EQUIP to talk to Ferret. They use Auto.I.T EQUIP as their main database and when they create a new supplier in Auto-IT EQUIP it becomes available in Ferret. They can then file documents into that supplier without having to recreate the supplier name/details in Ferret AP. This also means they do not have to maintain two separate databases.

Conclusion

“Ferret AP Approvals System achieved our goal to be as efficient as possible in the Admin area. As Ferret has a sync the two systems are able to talk to each other. If an Auto.I.T EQUIP user is finding they have a bottleneck in their AP process I would recommend that they look at this software”
